Md. Shamim Ahsan FCA is a distinguished Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), having earned his Chartered Accountant qualification in 2008 from ICAB. His professional journey commenced during his articleship
from December 1994 to May 1998 with Rahman Thakur & Co., Chartered Accountants,
a renowned firm where he gained invaluable experience in auditing, accounting, and
taxation. Throughout his career, Shamim Ahsan has amassed a wealth of expertise,
particularly within Bangladesh's renowned Group of Industries.
From September 1999 to
June 2013, he honed his skills and knowledge while serving notable conglomerates such
as PRAN GROUP, Orion Group, Padma Group, and DIRD GROUP. His tenure with these
