He commenced his professional journey at Mirpur Ceramic Works Limited from October 1996 to May 1999, followed by a tenure at PRAN Group as Finance Manager from June 1999 to March 2002. Subsequently, he served as Manager – Audit, heading the Internal Audit department at Apex Holdings Ltd. from April 2002 to June 2006. From July 2006 to September 2020, Abdur Rahim held the pivotal role of Chief Financial Officer at DIRD GROUP, where he played a strategic role in shaping financial strategy, risk management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

His tenure was marked by astute financial decision-making and the implementation of effective financial controls. Since March 1st, 2021, Abdur Rahim has been a valued Partner at Islam Jahid & Co.
